Covid-19 Emergency

Due to the ongoing coronavirus emergency all our our events are cancelled until at least July / August 2020

Our mail order service is still operating but with a much reduced selection as many of our suppliers have also closed or are operating with reduced staff.

Please be patient as we try to fulfill your order in these difficult times.

Terms and Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: we can not accept orders from outside the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) unless you contact us prior to placing the order. This is due to the extra postal charges required.

Sizes

Due to the increasing number of different suppliers we work with we would not be able to provide an all encompassing size guide. We have therefore started to add sample sizes to each item listing. If you are uncertain please contact us before ordering or include a measurement with your order.

Woolen Items

Leonardo Carbone of Germany has changed with material content of it's woolen items. Previously 100% wool, all LC woolen items now contain around 75% wool and 25% other fibres (including cotton and synthetics). The look and feel is very similar and the garments are slightly lighter, so please bear this in mind when ordering.

Ordering

You can order directly from our medieval selection by using Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to use this service, it accepts credit and debit cards like many other online payment systems.

Alternatively print off an order form, select to items you wish to buy, and then either fax, post or email it back to us. You can also order over the phone should you wish to pay using a credit or debit card.

Payment

If not using the Shopping Basket, payment can be made by cheque, credit card, debit card or Paypal.

Cheques : must be made payable to 'Noctule'. Please write your address on the reverse of the cheque.

Postal Rates

Please add 15% of your total order value to cover postage and packing.

Orders of 15 or more will be sent by recorded delivery were possible. This is to ensure safe delivery of your goods and to give us confirmation of when you receive them. Heavier and bulkier parcels may be sent by courier, which may require a signature on delivery.

Delivery

We aim to deliver your goods as soon as possible. If they are in stock then you should have them within 7 days (please allow a little longer if paying by cheque). Ideally you should have your order within 28 days, apart from footwear which may take up to 6 weeks. If there are any problems with stock availability will will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of how long your order will take. If you require an order by a specific date please contact us to confirm availability of stock.

C.O.D. Collection Option

If it's getting near 'festival time' e.g. Whitby Gothic Weekend or Tewkesbury Medieval Festival you can place your order with us in advance and arrange to collect it in person and so saving your postage costs. Please get in touch for prices.

Returns

According to Distance Selling Regulations, consumers who purchase items from a business seller via the internet, where there is no face-to-face contact between buyer and seller, generally have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days from the day after the item was received.

In order to return an item within this 14 day period please follow this procedure...

1. Contact us as soon as possible.
2. Return the item in an unused condition with labels attached, and preferably in the original packaging.
3. Return postage is at the buyer's expense
4. We advise that you obtain proof of posting.
5. Refunds will be made by the original payment method.

Damage in Transit

We always send our items via Royal Mail to ensure that your purchase reach you in perfect condition. Please check the condition of your parcel upon arrival and inform us as soon as possible of any damage that may of occured in transit so that the problem can be resolved.

Faulty Goods

Should your item(s) appear to be faulty in any way please contact us as soon as possible. If you need to return the item we will arrange to refund, repair or replace the item. Refunds will not be given if the item has been:
1. Accidentally damged by the buyer,
2. Misused by the buyer, or
3. Advised as faulty by the buyer at the time of purchase.

Data Protection

The information that you supply us with regard to any enquiries or orders that you make will not be used for any other purposes than fulfilling your order and pleasing the tax man. Under no circumstances will your personal details be made available to third parties of any kind.
